BVM DUGRI celebrated NATIONAL MATHEMATICS DAY on 23rd Dec., 2019. Different activities were performed on this day. Students of class III to V participated in a Song focused on concept of shapes. Students of class I and II enjoyed Math Themed games showing Even-Odd numbers, Ascending-Descending order and concept of After-Before & Between. Students of class VI recited a beautiful Poem based on Geometry, Algebra, General Mathematics and much more. Ripanjot, a student of class IX delivered a speech. One more day-‘KISAN DIWAS’ was also observed in BVM DUGRI. The main aim to celebrate this day is to make the people and the government aware about the problems faced by farmers. Aryan, a student of class III recited a poem in which he appreciated the hard work and contribution of farmers in the development of a nation. Our School teacher Mr. Jagmeet Singh delivered a speech highlighting the role of farmers in our lives. The main aim of celebrating the Math day was to teach various concepts of Math in a positive and fun filled atmosphere.
