To provide boost to the present by the past, Diwali festival was celebrated in BVM DUGRI on 26th October, 2019 with great enthusiasm and fervour. Various activities were undertaken and performed to highlight the vitality of the celebration. The students of class I and II participated in Diya Decoration and Candle Decoration hoping that this festival of light brings bright sparkles of joy and happiness in everyone's life. A student of class III namely Rishi recited a beautiful Poem to promote eco-friendly Diwali. To mark the celebration students participated in Card making, Toran making, Platter decoration competition. Slogan writing competition and Rangoli competition was also organized in the school. Sachin, student of class IX apprised the students about the importance of Diwali. Declamation contest on Pollution free & safe Diwali was the main attraction of the day. Sunderkand Paath was also recited by the whole school to ward off evils, remove obstacles in path and bestows with happiness and prosperity. Sh. M.M. Bamba Ji (President of BVM TRUST), Sh. K.C. Maini Ji (Vice President of BVM TRUST), Sh. P.C. Goyal Ji (Secretary of BVM TRUST), Sh. O.P. Sabharwal Ji (Member of BVM TRUST) were also present to grace the occasion. Saplings were distributed in nearby areas to convey the message 'इस दिवाली में पटाखे नहीं पेड़ लगाओ' to save environment. Principal Mam Mrs. Manisha Madaan offered her warm wishes and reiterated to celebrate enviro-friendly Diwali.
