With a view to keep vivacity in the high form B.V.M DUGRI celebrated Teacher's Day with great fun and enthusiasm on 5th September 2019. A Documentary was shown to class I and II which was dedicated to Sh. S. Radhakrishnan- the first Vice President of India and later on president of India and above all a teacher. Students of class III and IV presented their views in write ups on this special occasion as their token of love for teachers. Students of class V and VI participated in Declamation contest and expressed their feelings highlighting the contribution of teachers in a student's life. Sehajpreet Kaur student of class VII recited a beautiful Poem in honour of the relationship of a student and teachers who are considered to be the second parents of students. Pahulpreet of class VIII delivered an impressive Speech highlighting the importance of a Guru. Principal Mam Mrs. Ranjit Kaur said that all teachers including herself have to set an example to follow in the footsteps of great soul of India, the best teacher, Sh. S. Radhakrishnan. She herself assured that she will make unflinching efforts to keep up and reach the expected size and standard of profession of teaching.
