NATIONAL SPORTS DAY « 29/Aug/2019
To mark the Birth anniversary of the greatest Hockey star, Major Dhyan Chand, National Sports Day was celebrated in B.V.M High School, Dugri on 29th August, 2019. Sports give us a sense of identity and national pride. Keeping this in view, students were made aware of the significance of this day through a speech delivered by our school student namely Dilraj of class VIII. Various activities were performed to highlight the celebration. Students of class VI participated enthusiastically in Paragraph Writing on the topic- "Khelon Ka Jeevan Mein Mahatav". While class V students participated in Declamation contest. The students were appreciated for their effective participation. Principal mam Mrs. Ranjit Kaur gave the message that sports and games increase fitness, boost self confidence and lower the risk of getting obese.
