In BVM Dugri on 28th March 2017 shobha yatra in celebration of Nav Smavat was held. It was emphasized through that banners that we should curb social evils & we should stick to our culture and tradition. At shiv mandir located in CRPF colony devotees welcomed the students with flowers. To say welcome to Hindu New Year “Surya Arghya” was offered by the students in the temple, so that god Surya showers light and new energy for the upcoming year. Havan was performed in which principal mam and all the staff members of the school were present to mark the importance of the day. Principal mam Mrs Ranjit Kaur gave the message that we should try to reduce social evils and do away with female foeticide and save our girl child.
