BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF MANGAL PANDEY JI « 19/Jul/2021
Commemorating the Birth Anniversary of the greatest Indian Soldier, Mangal Pandey on July 19, 2021. Students of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School, Dugri also paid reverence to the warriors who fought for the freedom, grandeur and well being of India. Ms. Mamta (TGT SST) briefed all about the freedom fighter Mangal Pandey who spearheaded the revolt of 1857. She also apprised students of Rani Laxmi Bai, an important name in the struggle for independence against the Britishers. Students of class IV, V and VI paid their heartfelt tributes to the martyrs by reciting patriotic poems of their valour, courage and heroism. Principal, Ms. Manisha Madaan, urged the students to become good citizens and to imbibe the great phenomenal values of selflessness and patriotism that these great patriots epitomized.
