MARTYRDOM DAY OF LALA LAJPAT RAI JI « 17/Nov/2020
Martyrdom day of India’s one of the greatest freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai, who is popularly known as ‘Punjab Kesari’ or ‘Sher-e - Punjab’ was celebrated by the students of BVM High School, Dugri on November 17, 2020 with great patriotic fervour. To imbibe the true meaning of the day, Ms. Khiwani, primary teacher, gave a deep insight into the life, work and sacrifices of the righteous and courageous hero of the nation who fought gallantly for the freedom of the nation. She inspired the young listeners to become great humans, to follow his path and to create a nation which is strong and united. The students of class VIII paid a creative homage to the man of exemplary courage and great values by reciting beautiful poems and vowed to become better citizens.
