BIRTH ANNIVERSARIES OF 2 GREAT PERSONALITIES - MAHATMA GANDHI JI AND LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI JI « 02/Oct/2020

To commemorate the Birth Anniversaries of 2 great personalities - 'Father of our Nation' Mahatma Gandhi ji and the former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri ji, students of BVM DUGRI participated in various activities. To make Swacch Bharat Abhiyan a mass movement, students gave the message of Swacchta Manav Jeevan ka Adhaar by making a short video of cleaning up their own houses. Our school teacher Ms. Baljinder shared her views on the inspirational life of both the great leaders. Sneha, a student of X class paid rich tribute to Gandhiji by reciting a poem. One more important day - 'International day of Non-Violence' was also celebrated. Ada, a student of class IX delivered a speech highlighting the importance of non-violence in the words 'Ahimsa Parmo Dharma'. She further added that this concept has to remain vibrating and throbbing in all the times to come in the hearts of mankind of the world.
