BVM HIGH SCHOOL, DUGRI was bubbling with religious fervor and enthusiasm on Jan 29, 2020 on the occasion of Basant Panchmi festival. The whole school assembled together to pray and attain the blessings from Goddess Saraswati to reach the epitome of knowledge. The celebration commenced with Saraswati Pujan followed by the chanting of Beej Mantra 'ॐ श्रीं ह्रीं सरस्वतयै नमः' 108 times. The school teacher Ms. Pooja highlighted the importance of Saraswati Vandana and told the significance of the Basant Panchmi festival. All the students and the staff of the school offered yellow colored flowers to the goddess. The tiny tots of class Nur to II came beautifully decked up in yellow attire. Students also brought yellow colored food in their tiffin. The Principal Mam, Mrs. Ranjit Kaur motivated the students to be progressive learners, setting big goals and putting dedicated efforts as a promising and flourishing human harvest.
