Birth Anniversary of Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first president of India, was observed on 3rd Dec. 2019 in BVM DUGRI. Students were given knowledge through an impressive Speech about the life history of this great person and his unforgettable contribution in preparing the constitution. He encouraged the development of education in India and advised on several occasions. To mark one more important day i.e. International Day of Persons with Disabilities, various activities were performed in the campus. Our school teacher Ms. Sarabjeet apprised the students about the importance of celebrating this day. She further added that it aims to increase public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability and celebrate their achievements and contributions. To sensitize the students about the problems faced by persons with disabilities, they were blindfolded and asked to participate in a race. They also participated in One Leg Race. These activities helped them realize the physical incompleteness so that they can become sensitive towards the problems faced by these people.
